Swatch: MAC Hipness Blush

I know it's super late to post about this Hipness blush, and you probably have seen lots of swatches for this blush, but I can't help to do a post for this blush cause it's too pretty to be not posted about :D.

I've never been so lucky to be able to get LE new release beauty products as soon as they're released cause it's impossible to do that from where I live. All I can do is just to admire those of you who have gotten them. But last month, I'm lucky enough to win this Hipness blush from a giveaway that was hosted by Janice of Swtest2Lips, thank you Janice!

I love how she packed everything, even the card is so pretty :)

I love the starfish print on the packaging!

It's a really pretty coral pink shade, and on the picture with flash you can notice that it has a hint of golden sheen.

I was really surprised by the pigmentation! I applied too heavy-handed on my cheeks the first time I tried it and I somehow looked like a clown, LOL. But with light handed, it gives a subtle glowy look on my cheeks. I really love it! It has become one of my favorite blush :)

On another note, I got a love package from Zoe of 13 December. Thank you Zoe, I can't wait to try the Lollipop Blusher :).

After swatching my Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks, I decided to swatch my three MAC lipsticks too. I know it's random, but I don't have much lipsticks in the first place :D. Okay, here are the swatches...

Viva Glam Gaga, Viva Glam V, Way to Love

A little story behind the lipsticks, I got the VG Gaga as a birthday present for myself and I did a swatch on my arm at here. As for the VG V, I won it from a giveaway that was hosted by Karen. And the Way to Love is a sweet birthday present from Nic. They are all Lustre finish and very buildable.

I love the fact that all of them look nothing alike. My fave is Way to Love, the shade is lighter than Revlon Colorburst in Blush which is one of my fave lipstick too. Viva Glam V looks darker and it's perfect for a touch up in my opinion. My lips are very pigmented so Viva Glam Gaga doesn't show really well on my lips but I love the sheer look from it. Which one is your fave?

Btw, I've just changed my layout. What do you think? I think I'm going to change my layout more often now, thanks to the new template design. It's really easy and simple :D. I aslo add formspring.me on the sidebar, ask me anything there! :)

Swatch: Canmake & MAC

Canmake Cream Cheek & Nudy Glow Lip Gloss

I've mentioned on my previous post that I got two Canmake products from my Taiwan trip, which are:

Canmake Cream Cheek #01 Peach Dream & Canmake Nudy Glow Lip Gloss #04 Sugar Milk Tea

Here are the swatches:

I really love the Cream Cheek, despite the name is peach dream, the shade doesn't really turn out to be peach, it looks more pink-ish than peach-ish. Although it looks shimmery on the swatch, but when you apply it on your cheeks, you can barely notice it. It also makes my cheeks look natural and glowing. I think I'll get more shades from this Cream Cheek :D.

The Nudy Glow lip gloss is very pigmented. I'm so glad that I got this too cause I haven't had any lip gloss that as creamy as this one. This sugar milk tea shade looks naturally nude on me and I can wear it alone without applying lipstick first. Amy has done a very great review for this Nudy Glow lip gloss, check it out here.

MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga

This is a very belated birthday present for myself :p. When I saw a lot of bloggers rave about this particular lippie, I just can't resist to get one for myself as I've never had this shade before. I think I don't have to bother to describe this as you all must have already seen tons of reviews for this lippie.  I'm thinking of getting Viva Glam Cindy too :D. Here's the swatch on my arm:

Speaking of lipstick, I still remember that when I was young, my siblings and me used to play my mom's makeup. We were not playing it like really doing a makeup on our face but we were using it just for fun. Like there was one time my sister applied one of my mom's lipstick around my bro's eyes to make him look like a panda, LOL. The thing is the lipstick that she used was a relatively new lipstick. Of course my mom got very angry when she found out about it cause the lipstick's shape had become so weird and she could hardly use it anymore. I think I will be mad, like really mad if someone does that to my lipsticks too, esp. if it's my fave one. Hehe...

Belated Birthday Loves

Hey everyone, I just got back from my Taiwan trip two days ago. It was fun but exhausting at the same time, I'll blog about the trip soon :) But before that, I'm going to post a couple of birthday presents that I received before my trip.

My birthday has came and gone one month ago. And one of my best blogger buddie ever, Nic, sent me a belated birthday present. Being a sweetheart that she is, she never fail to surprise me with her kindness. Here's the goodies that she got for me:

One-Year Blog Anniversary!

Yes! Today my blog has turned one-year old. I started this blog last year on March although on the archives, the first post was on June. Back in last year, this blog was just a personal blog of mine that I promised to myself to blog at least once a month :D, hence that only one post on each June and July. If you are one of my first followers, you would still read the first few posts (from March to June), cause at that time I still kept those posts but I doubt you read those posts though :D. Later I decided to move them to my personal blog, cause I want to keep my personal stuffs aside :). I still remember who was my very first follower (Shout-out to Nic!) and I'm really glad that I create this blog although the initial thought for this blog wasn't on beauty blog. I really love this community, just like what Lisa said on her recent post, this community is like a sorority. I really feel that I can easily make friends with you all although we most likely won't be able to meet in real life. I got to meet a fellow blogger though, yeah, that's the ever lovely Verina :). I really want to shout-out to each and everyone of you, but afraid that one or few of you will be left out. So, just know that I love you all very very much :)), you are all sweet and nice blogger!

Speaking of sweet and nice blogger, few days ago I received a surprised birthday present from Kay. I was really surprised that I got a package cause I didn't expect any package at that time, and I was even more surprised that the package was from Kay. A couple weeks ago, I found out on twitter that Kay's birthday is on March and I randomly told her that mine is on March as well. When I received the birthday present from Kay, I was puzzled that she knows my address, and later I remember that I joined a Secret Santa she hosted on last Christmas. Thank you so much Kay! You are one of the sweetest blogger I've ever known :).

I was really excited when I saw that Kay included those BB Cream samples cause I've been wanting to try them. Love the paintpot and the palette as well. And those are my very first falsies, yeah I've never applied falsies by myself yet, so I'm going to start with them :D.

I Just Wanna Say...

I'm back now!!! Yay! I just handed my thesis today. And now all I have to do is just waiting for the test. I'm really nervous about it. It determines whether I'll be able to graduate this year or not. Just hope for the best!

I really wanna thanks all of you for all of the supports you'd given me. I was thinking to write a special thanks for you bloggers in my thesis, but if I do that, my friends will know that I have a blog which I still don't want them to know about. So, I'll just thank you from the bottom of my heart, hope you guys don't mind :)

And last but not least, a surprise Christmas present from a really great blogger buddie, Nic. This love package took me by surprise, cause I wasn't expecting anything from her. Although it came late for Christmas, I really love all of the stuffs she gave me. Thanks Nic :)

And Lisa, do you remember that I told you my number one wishlist is a new laptop? Well, I got it now! I'll ditch my 4 years old PC soon and will blog from this new laptop. Meet my new baby :D
