I Was Away for A Week

I guess you don't even notice it, Ha! Well, I didn't mention it anyway, hehe.  I've been back for a few days but too lazy to do a post :P. So I went to Singapore last week to do some stuffs and one of the reason is to watch this:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
Surprisingly I actually quite like the movie since I didn't have too much expectation for it because the sixth installment of the movie (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) disappointed me, I actually fell asleep during the movie. So after finished watching this seventh installment, I was glad that I was still wide awake! The only thing that I don't like is they make the movie in two parts, and the part two isn't released until next July! I don't mind to watch the movie 5 hours straight, I just don't like to wait so long to watch the next part. Oh well, I can't do anything about it.

When I went shopping, I saw FaceQ masks in People's Park Complex (one of the shopping center in Singapore) and was really happy. But when I looked at them closely, I found the packaging was really weird, it's unlike the one that I got from Taiwan. So when I went home, I compared them, I assume that the one that I saw in People's Park Complex is the fake FaceQ masks. See the difference:

FaceQ masks that I saw in People's Park Complex

FaceQ masks that I got from Taiwan

Notice the difference? The fake masks look colorless. Even though they're pretty cheap (SGD 1.50/piece), but we never know what they have in the ingredients and what they'll do to our skin. No to fake masks!

This is what I do when I don't have internet connection or when I don't have any book to read. I love Sudoku! Although sometimes I got frustrated when I couldn't solve it but that never makes me stay away from playing Sudoku :D.

It's been a while since my last food porn post (is it?), so here's a little food porn for you all!

Pearl milk tea, one of my fave drink ever!

Waffle basket with ice cream~

More macarons for me! I'm addicted!

Meatballs at IKEA, so yummm~

Happy Thanksgiving!
Till next time!

the face mask covers are so cute, and the food looks great. Welcome back. :-)

LOL, you were missed! I use many generic products that have the same ingredients as the name brands, so the fakes really annoy me.

I've never had french macaroons, only the coconut macaroon variety.

the past couple of posts I've read in my feeds have all shown pics of bubble tea, lol..it's making me crave some now!

I agree that I wish they hadn't split up the last HP book into 2 parts, but there's really so much that needs to be included, and 5 hours is a really long time to sit through (even though I'd probably do it, haha)...sad and excited to see the last half of it next summer!

I'm glad that the 7th movie was better! I haven't watched the 6th but a lot of people said they didn't like it. Mind you, I have the say the 6th book was kind of MEH too.

I’m waiting till the blu-ray comes out for the new HP, but everybody is raving on how good it is, I think I might have go and see it right away.

It makes me so mad to see fake retailers; I mean really what’s the point?

The look so yummy, I feel a sweet tooth coming on … lol

Yup, it's better to be careful with fake-looking skincare products! It's not worth the risk. You must have had a great time in Singapore. Your food pics this time is so colourful! Ha ha! :)
