I Was Away for A Week

I guess you don't even notice it, Ha! Well, I didn't mention it anyway, hehe.  I've been back for a few days but too lazy to do a post :P. So I went to Singapore last week to do some stuffs and one of the reason is to watch this:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Surprisingly I actually quite like the movie since I didn't have too much expectation for it because the sixth installment of the movie (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) disappointed me, I actually fell asleep during the movie. So after finished watching this seventh installment, I was glad that I was still wide awake! The only thing that I don't like is they make the movie in two parts, and the part two isn't released until next July! I don't mind to watch the movie 5 hours straight, I just don't like to wait so long to watch the next part. Oh well, I can't do anything about it.

When I went shopping, I saw FaceQ masks in People's Park Complex (one of the shopping center in Singapore) and was really happy. But when I looked at them closely, I found the packaging was really weird, it's unlike the one that I got from Taiwan. So when I went home, I compared them, I assume that the one that I saw in People's Park Complex is the fake FaceQ masks. See the difference:

Notice the difference? The fake masks look colorless. Even though they're pretty cheap (SGD 1.50/piece), but we never know what they have in the ingredients and what they'll do to our skin. No to fake masks!

This is what I do when I don't have internet connection or when I don't have any book to read. I love Sudoku! Although sometimes I got frustrated when I couldn't solve it but that never makes me stay away from playing Sudoku :D.

I'm not sure how old was I in this picture, maybe 2 or 3 yrs old. The hand on the doll next to me was my sister's, I cropped her out :D. I guess I was listening to the radio at that time. See how I posed? When I was looking at my childhood pictures, I saw that I posed like this a lot, the way I put my legs. Even when I was lying on the bed, my legs were like that too. That's definitely weird for a girl. And I guess it has became a habit of mine, cause I still do it now. Well, of course not when I'm outside. But I always find myself doing it when I'm at home :D

I didn't read the book, I watch the movie version. I'm really impressed that a girl would do anything for her sister, in this case, went to court to sue her parents. And although that she was brought into the world to be a genetic match for her older sister, she still love her sister unconditionally. It's really touching to see what she did for her sister that it makes me wonder if there's a person who will actually do this too.

Being a food lover that I am, I took a lot of food pictures. So I'm not surprised that I got a food picture for this tag :D. I forgot what the name of this food that we had, but it was a fried chicken with lemon grass or something like that. The story behind this picture: it was my friend's birthday and she treated us at a Chinese restaurant. So we ordered three dishes, and waited. Two of the dishes were served and we'd almost finished all of our foods but still waiting for the last one which is the one in the picture. We kept asking the waiters about it, and they kept saying it was almost done. We almost wanted to cancel it but since the waiters seemed nice, we decided to wait for it. And totally, we waited for 45 minutes for this particular dish. That is why we all took this picture even though we didn't take any of the previous dishes. Luckily it was tasty or else we would be very furious about it. But I'm sure I won't order this again the next time.

Gossip Girl Season 3

I've just watched the new season of Gossip Girl. And i loooooooveeee it!!

Sunday Outing

I went out with my bf yesterday, went to a mall for lunch and watching movie. I didn't eat Steak for quite a long time, so decided to try American Grill as i heard my friend said it's not bad. And It's really good, I'll definitely go there again.

Steak & BBQ Rib + Mashed Potato

This was my bf's. He wanted to try their Beef Rib, and he was so pleased after ate it. The rib was really nice (as i type I'm drooling for it now.. LOL). But don't really like the steak, forgot to tell the waiter for medium well instead of well done. And i ordered their Malibu Chicken (forgot to take a picture of it, well.. actually i did but when i remembered, the chicken only left half ;p), a mozzarella cheese topping fried chicken, i love cheese so i love this too. The best part of American Grill is their appetizers and desserts are ALL YOU CAN EAT!! Ha! We'd tried their salad, cakes, ice cream, and soup. All are good, i esp. love their salad (so many choices!) and cakes.

After lunch, we went to watch Final Destination 4. I initially didn't want to watch it, but my bf insisted. Don't like this movie, it ways too grossed (except that the main actor is cute ;p). And the way the people died there doesn't make sense to me. For example, when one of girl died from hitting by a tire and broke into pieces. I really don't recommend to watch this movie. I've watched the past three of this movie, and i think this one is the grossest one. Can you imagine that we watched this right after we had lunch? Eww...
