Swatch: Sinful Colors - Beautiful Girl & Vacation Time

Sinful Colors! I've heard so many great reviews about their nail polishes and such, so I was really excited when Nic sent these two beautiful nail polishes to me! She knows me so well and picked two colors that are very wearable and I love. Please check below for the swatches and short reviews from me:

Sinful Colors - Beautiful Girl 

(2 coats)

I'd describe this one as a creamy bubblegum pink, a really beautiful shade indeed. It goes on smoothly and not streaky at all. I could get away with just one coat but applied two coats instead for a more even and smooth finish. I was really surprised by it's lasting power, it lasted 4 to 5 days without any chippings, totally love this nail polish!

Sinful Colors - Vacation Time

(2 coats)

It's a beautiful brownish-pink shade with a creamy finish. Unlike Beautiful Girl, it's a little bit streaky and took me quite a while to achieve a even and smooth finish. Nevertheless, I really like how it looks on my nails. It's very work-appropriate, yet without being dull. Just like the other nail polish, its lasting power is fantastic, it lasts days without chippings! I'm in love with Sinful Colors nail polishes :D

This month....

I like: holiday and shopping! I'm so going to shop till I drop! LOL, j/k.

I don't like: having to think about what I'm going to eat. Yes, I'm all alone at home and I don't really know how to cook and there's no food delivery service here. I really miss Jakarta now.

I want you to know: I'm kinda having writer's block now. Hopefully it will go away soon.

I've planned: to get rid of my laziness! I'm too lazy and everyone knows that, le sigh...

I want to say to someone special: I miss my besties! I really miss hanging out and gossiping talking silly things with you girls! Wish we're still in college :(

Etude House Petit Darling Nail Polish - PK010 Pinkade

Another nail polish that I have from Etude House! See the other one here. The pink color is really gorgeous and I like wearing it all the time. Just like the PK003, for this nail polish I have to apply three coats to get a more even finish. I think it's because this nail polish is too runny. The staying powers is pretty good, I think most (if not all) of the Etude House's nail polishes have really good staying power. What's on your nails?

I like: reading! I want to read all the books that have been on my reading list :D

I don't like: drama. Too much drama around me, I feel like running away from all these things.

Etude House Petit Darling Nail Polish - PK003 Strawberry Milk

This is a really pretty pastel pink nail color. It's very sheer though, I need to take at least three coats to get this opacity. The staying power is pretty good, it's third day now and it doesn't show any chipping. But I don't think it looks flattering on my nails as it makes my hand looks really dark, pastel colors never look good on me :(.

I like: trips! Some of you may have already known about this, but I'm visiting Penang, Malaysia next week and Melbourne, Australia at the end of this month! I'm really excited! :D

I don't like: mosquitoes! They are everywhere and even in my room! I can't seem to get rid of them :(.

I want you to know: that I'm officially an Etsy addict! I can't stop browsing their stuffs nowadays and considering to get them too :D

I've planned: to reorganize my closet! It's in a mess right now and it's hard to find clothes that I want to wear.

E.l.f. - Champagne

Got this nail polish from the lovely Lulu! It's a coral shade with a hint of shimmer in it. A very wearable shade and I've been wearing this shade for almost a month! It's already pretty opaque with just one coat but I applied two coats for a more even finish. The staying power is pretty good too, no chipping until the fourth day. I totally love this nail polish :D, thank you Lulu!

I like: I can't think of anything! Sigh, it's getting more and more boring each and everyday...

Second attempt for french manicure tips! And this time I used O.P.I. in Rosy Mistletoe-Sies. I love how it turned out, definitely better than my failed first attempt. But of course I still need a lot of practices :D.

Swatch: Essence & The Face Shop Nail Polish

I got this Essence nail polish from the lovely miss Witoxicity (Thanks you!). When I first got this nail polish, I immediately thought of my The Face Shop nail polish which the color looks similar to this Essence one. But when I got them side by side, they don't look really similar, Essence nail polish looks more to burgundy while The Face Shop nail polish looks more to mauve (Sorry! I'm terrible at describing colors).

pinky: Essence 55 Spot On - one coat

From the pictures above you can see how different they are. Essence nail polish is very opaque while The Face Shop nail polish is really sheer. I need to take three coats of The Face Shop nail polish to reach that opacity. And Essence nail polish only needs one coat but I prefer two coats for a more even application.

Essence nail polish 55 Spot on

The staying power of this nail polish is just mediocre, it chips in just two or three days upon application. And it's very streaky, I was having hard time to get a smooth coat from this nail polish. But it's a really lovely shade, it's very wearable in my opinion.

The Face Shop BR805

The staying power is no better than Essence but I like that with thin application, it dries so much faster than Essence nail polish and it's not as streaky.

My first attempt on French manicure! And it's a total fail, well, at least I've tried :D. I was using the L.A. Colors Nail Art in White from Nic <3. I'll try to do it better next time :).

I like: that I'm going to officially graduate! It's less than one week from it and I'm very excited yet nervous about it :D.

I don't like: that I'm starting to procrastinate again, there's so much things for me to do yet I'm slacking around, sigh...

Majolica Majorca - PK311

This is one of my favorite shade now! I love the size of this nail polish, it makes me feel that I can actually finish it :D. The staying power is just okay, when I applied with top coat, it could stay perfectly for a week and without top coat it started to chip in 3 or 4 days. With only one coat I could reach the opacity but I prefer it with two coats.

N.Y.C. Long Wearing Nail Enamel - 124A Cashmere Creme

This is another nail polish that I got from Nic (thanks Nic! :)). Also another nail polish shade that is out of my comfort zone. It's very sheer and to reach this opacity I need to apply 4 coats. The shade is very pretty, it's a pale blue with shimmer hints in it.

I tried to mix and match the two nail polish shades, and I think they look quite good together but I doubt I will wear it this way all the time, hehe...

I like: that I've started to learn how to drive now! Hopefully by the end of this month I'll be able to drive to anywhere I want :D

I don't like: that I keep putting on weight! It's only been one month and I've gained 2 kg (4.4 lbs)... sigh...

I want you to know: that my hometown is really beautiful. Here's one of the shot that I took in my hometown :)

I've planned: to eat less now, i don't want end up gaining 10 kg (22 lbs) in just a few months.

I want to say to someone special: Mom, don't cook too much delicious foods please? You know that I can't resist them ;p. Nonetheless, I still love you <3

Skin Food BR608

Another NOTD from me :), or I should call NOTM, LOL. Okay, I'll try to do my nails more than once in a month from now on :D. I really love this nail polish. It really is a perfect nude color for me. I love using it when I don't want to be distracted by my nails color. The staying power is just okay though, it started to chip in just 3 days. But still, I keep reaching for this nail polish. Btw, excuse my dry cuticles :p

This month....

I like: that I'm going to Taiwan again soon! It's going to be my third trip to Taiwan, I'm so excited :D

I don't like: nothing for now! Maybe the only thing that I don't like is just that I can't go online all the time since I had to share the internet connection with my family and my parents don't like that I'm holding my laptop so often, hehe...

I want you to know: that actually the main reason that I move back to my hometown is because I don't want to work or continue my education yet. And for that, I have promised my Dad to help his work. So, I'm trying my best to help him now :)

I've planned: to learn how to drive after I get back from my Taiwan trip. It really sucks to always count on somebody to drive me to somewhere.

I want to say to someone special: I miss you already! Don't get too tired for your work, you know that I want to be there for you....

O.P.I Rosy Mistletoe-Sies

This nail polish is a giveaway prize from Mona. At first I was skeptical that I will use this shade, but when I've finally tried it, I immediately fall in love with it. It's a pretty rosy red shade. I really love O.P.I. nail polish formula, it's so easy to apply with, I think I'll get more of O.P.I. nail polishes! :D

Btw, I just realized that I only post my NOTD once a month. LOL. I think it's more of NOTM :D

This month....

I like: that I'm on a long long holiday now. It feels so great to have all the univ stuffs done :D

I don't like: my new internet connection! It's so slow that I can't even watch my fave TV show online now. I've just changed it this month cause most of my housemates want to stop the old connection, I just can't afford to pay the old connection by myself. Guess that means you get what you pay for :(

I want you to know: that I'll be moving back to my hometown next week! Will stay there for at least one year I think. But don't worry, cause my home has an internet connection which is far better than this one I'm using now. So, I'll still blog from there :)

I've planned: to start packing my stuffs soon (haha, soon but not now, I'm such a procrastinator). Will have to sort which stuffs that I'm going to bring and which to leave behind, that will be really hard.

I want to say to someone special: the four and a half years we spent together is just so surreal. There are happiness, sadness, misunderstand and so much more. I just hope our friendship will stay stronger and stronger although most of us will go different ways. Thank you all for the great univ years we've been through :) Go PAW'ers!

Got this nail polish from Nic. Finally I came out from my comfort zone which is nude shade nail polish to this really pretty blue color. Again, please excuse my uneven application, I'm such a noob. The nail polish shade is pretty sheer, as you can see from the one coat pic. I personally like it better with a top coat. I really like this nail polish, although I'll become more conscious and can't stop looking at my own nails :D. Thanks for this lovely nail polish, Nic :)

This month....

I like: that I've submitted my thesis! No more lack of sleeping now... :D

I don't like: that I have to wait for the session! And not knowing whether I'll be able to go back to my hometown for CNY or not. It's really frustrating!

I want you to know: that I love you all! :) All the sweet and encouraging words to me make me feel really glad to know you all *hugs*

I've planned: to prepare my best for the session, it's for all the hard work (well, not really :D) I've been through for this 4 years. Fighting!

I want to say to someone special: I know I'm not good at expressing myself, but I hope you know that I feel really glad that you always be there for me when I need you even when you are busy. Love ya :)

I've just tried this NYX Girls nail polish in Mocha Latte that I got from Mai. Please excuse my uneven application and ugly looking cuticles, I hardly take care of my nails :D. I really love the packaging with a sparkly diamante in the center. The picture doesn't really show the true color, in real life it looks copperish with gold shimmer in it. The color is quite pigmented with just one coat, but in this picture I applied two coats.
