Review: Cellnique Paramedical Body Plush Emulsion Wash

Price: RM59 (≈ USD20)

 Description:
An invigorating burst of fragrant sumptuousness and a gentle caress of velvety opulence, this body wash's spellbinding scent envelopes you in a sweet-smelling cocoon and intoxicates you with its aroma-therapeutic essential oil fragrance. Leaving the skin feeling deliciously soft and sinfully smooth.

Ingredients List:
Purified Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerin, Cocamide DEA, Polyquaternium 39, Styrene/Acrylate Copolymer, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate, Olive (Oleo europaea) Oil, Trehalose, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sweet Orange (Citrus aurantium dulcis) Oil, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methy-Ilsothiazolinone

My Thought:
As you can see, the texture of this shower cream is not really thick and more to a runny side. It has a very refreshing citrus-y scent and the scent is pretty long-lasting on me. It lathers well just like most of the shower creams and makes my skin feels really clean. It does moisturize my skin, but I still need to apply body lotion afterward as I feel it's not enough for just using the shower cream alone. But for a this tiny bottle of shower cream (250mL / 8.4 fl oz.), I do feel it's rather pricey.

Pros:
- Moisturzing
- Cleanses well
- Pleasant scent

Cons:
- Pricey

Rating: 3.5/5
 Repurchase: Yes if it's 50% off :P

  1. It is still slightly $ even at 50% off ;D Don't mind me, I'm too used to drugstore prices haha, but I haven't been purchasing drugstore shower creams recently. I'm liking this Cellnique one far too much haha

  2. I almost thought that this is an Ettusais product when I took a glance at the image! Actually, it does sound like a pretty good product, but like you said, it's a little pricey!

  3. Hi Dina!

Thanks for reviewing this! The bottle is super cute, I'm really attracted to that color of green for some reason. XD Wah, I'm with you, too expensive and maybe if it was on a big sale. LOL

  6. They make body wash? Did not know that. Body wash in my opinion should never be pricey. =\

  7. We've had one or two citrus body washes that actually burned a little, so we avoid them now.

    Hope you're doing well! =)

  10. Citrus scent in a body wash? Lovely! Hmm, but I also think it's pricey for a body wash.

  13. Dina, I can see why you gave it just 3.5.. I also don't like forking out a lot of money for a basic product that is not spectacular you know? :)

  14. I think Cellnique's products work very well but I do agree they do tend to be on the pricey side mm? I don't think I've ever paid over $5 on body wash myself though O_o
